Freddie Flintoff has settled into the talkSPORT Breakfast show seamlessly… but that hasn’t stopped Laura Woods and Ally McCoist teaming up as they rip into the former England cricket star.

Flintoff is often the butt end of the joke and Laura and Ally’s latest attack took aim at some of the TV shows he’s done through his career.

The former cricketer has enjoyed a successful broadcasting career since retiring, appearing on television shows ranging from A League Of Their Own to Trollied, Lord of the Fries, Cannonball and Top Gear.

But to be fair to Laura and Ally, Freddie left them an open goal with this one – you can read the hilarious exchange below…

Freddie: “A number of shows I do with canned laughter.”

Laura: “You’d be out of a job if you couldn’t do that.”

Ally: “By the way [already laughing], canned laughter was invented for your shows.”

Freddie: “That’s why I struggle on here.”

Laura: “In Freddie’s contract, it was stipulated that we must laugh at his jokes.”

That may have been the end of the ribbing about his TV career, but the jokes certainly didn’t stop there…

When Flintoff made a comment about cricket and the County Championship, cue the canned laughter from the producers.
